My newest public art piece, "Tierra del Sol", was unveiled this Thursday at the Dennis P. Zine community center in Canoga Park. It hangs in the entry hall of the center. The piece was originally created as a mixed media linoleum cut and painting, and was transformed into an 8 x 12 foot powder coated mural on metal. The piece was commissioned by the Community Redevelopement Agency of the city Los Angeles and NEW Economics for Women.
